Happy Birthday to Me

Well, another year older for me. Not doing much today but I am pretty excited about my sushi birthday dinner.
My wonderful boyfriend and partner gave me my birthday present early, a Wacom Cintiq 13HD tablet. He installed all the drivers, set up the tablet to meet my specifications/needs, and set it up on the computer desk.
So I can basically play my PC games and draw at the same time if I wanted. That is a major bonus for me. I have been trying to save up for the tablet for the past 5 years and have struggled the entire time.
As happy as I am to receive such a gift, I do want to take on commissions to be able to pay back the cost of the tablet to put into our joint savings towards a house. So if anyone is interested in quick sketch commissions or experiment digital paintings, just shoot me a note!
Off to my birthday shenanigans now~ I'm excited to go to my favorite brewery that specializes in old English ales. My favorite on tap right now is a 20% braggat. so much yum!

Getting back into the swing of things

As summer is fast approaching, I am saving up for a down payment towards a home with my significant other. We have about half saved up so far. If we are able to save up an additional 5,000$ or more, we are able to get our loan for a home. Our first home and the ability to get out of a very toxic living situation. I don't post here as often as I should with art updates due to how crazy things have been for me since moving cross country.
I am currently open for digital pieces.
My prices haven't changed since 2014 and are still a bit lower than I have been told to charge.
Every little bit helps for saving up for the house. Even if I am able to make 1,000$ in total by myself, it helps in the long run. I will still be living in Michigan in the Oakland county region. That way, I can still attend school to finish my BFA and my dream to work in the art therapy field, as well as still drive out to work.
